The Professorship of Ecoclimatology at the TUM School of Life Sciences Weihenstephan in Freising, Germany is offering a temporary position starting July 1, 2018 for a Post-doctoral research associate in ecoclimatology / biometeorology


The Professorship’s research is focusing on interactions of biosphere and atmosphere subject to climate change, esp. impacts of extreme events on plants and animals (phenology, dendroecology) and human health, as well as feedbacks of biogenic processes into the atmosphere. A considerable research infrastructure (e.g. altitudinal gradient measurement network, pollen traps, drought and warming experiments, chamber system and GC-MS analysis of biogenic VOC emissions, professional UAV system, and an isotopic CO2 analyzer at the Environmental Research Station Schneefernerhaus) is available for these purposes.
